Mr. and Mrs. Larrabce left for a trip to the mountains, and will he at home to their friends after September 15, in the Harvey flats. Miss Genevieve Smoot, dough or of Mr. and Mrs. Wi C. Mr. and Mrs. Pcttigue left on the late train for San Francisco and Los Angeles, but will return here to make their home. Miss Geary entertained thirty guests Wednesday, in honor of Miss Florence Flor-ence Madison. The decorations were green and white, the colors for the coming wedding. Miss Marjoric Dcy entertained at a luncheon at her home Wednesday followed by a party at the Orphauni. Smilax and pink and white asters decorated de-corated the table. A number of out of-town friends include Miss Kimball Kim-ball of -Ogdcn, Miss Paine of Ogdcn, Miss Damon of San Francisco, Miss j$ Wright of Illinois and Miss Allen of this city, and Miss Dcy. Mrs. Joseph Richards entertain -d four tables at bridge tea Wednesday afternoon, in honor of Mrs. Edward B. Sterling of Portland, Ore. Prizes were won by Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Donncll, Mrs. Shcpard and Miss Ilowat. r Mrs. J. A. Reeves entertained at the Orpheum Wednesday, fallowed by a luncheon, in honor of Mrs. J. C. llanchett, who has just returned here to live, and Mrs. Elizabeth Crawfo.d Ivulluk, who is visiting here front San Antonio, Tex. Mfs. Glun Miller entertained ;it bridge Wednesday, in honor of her sister, Mr. II. H, Hcrringer and her cousin, Mrs. Clarence White. Dc-o-ratious were in nasturtiums. Mrs. Frank Johnson won the prize. Miss Virginia A. Bush of the English Eng-lish department of the high school and Miss Leah Bush, who are spending spend-ing the summer on a camping trip through the Strawberry valley, will return the latter part of the week. Miss Tilly Thomas entertained av a kitchen shower Wednesday evening, in honor of Miss Pearl Branch, who is to be married September 5. The decorations were pink and green. Mr. and Mrs. M. II. Walker and family and Miss Hague have gone for a trip to Yellowstone park. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lachmund and Mrs. Sibston arc now at home to their friends at 9 Emery Hats. Miss Dorothy Bailey has returned from spending the summer with re- p latives in San Francisco. Mrs. A. II. Little is home from Mountain Dell. Mrs. Elmer Smith and Mrs. A. G.
