Show JOHNKEN JOHN KEN HANSEN PIONEER AND BUILDER DIES HERE SUNDAY john hansen a resident of this city for the past three years and a pioneer of utah since 1864 died at the family residence in in this city early in the morning of july fth after being bedfast since decoration day aen wen he suffered a severe fall mr hansens body was prepared for burial buria lat at the undertaking parlor of geo H lindberg Lm dberg and taken by auto hearse to riverton tuesday morning for services and burial funeral services were hold at the riverton ward chapel tuesday afternoon aa a 2 interment was at the riverton River tori cemetery john hansen was born in forean denmark april 28 1830 and emigrated to utah in 1864 after ho he had joined the L D S church he first settled in malad where many of the build ings eo constructed at that time iso identified with the construction of the utah central railroad and irrigation canals in salt lake county he also returned twice to his native y eland land on a mission ion ile he is survived by a widow mrs marie B hansen of this city jolin john hansen hangen ari ara a son of salt lake city and four grandchildren |
