These deposits are extensive and are considered of great potential value. The smelter trouble with the production of sulphuric acid fumes has been investigated by the bureau of animal ln- dustry of the department of agriculture. There have been a number of suits against the smelters, but they have allowed the acid fumes to go to waste for lack of some profitable way to employ them.
