| Show college students take vows july 5 mr and mrs lee west announce the marriage of their daughter zeila zella west to stewart S alien allen a son of mr and mrs charles E al len of leeds utah the marriage was solemnized at the home of the bride s par parents ants saturday evening july 5 with bishop charles E alien allen father of the bridegroom officiating A dou ble ring ceremony was performed A reception followed at the home of the bride mrs lee roy L west was matron 0 of f honor with miss sh aley gillespie as maid of honor brides maids were mrs don tal madge and miss janet west au cou sin of the bride little miss lois phearson was flower girl while the best man was mr lee boy roy west brother of the bride mrs harry gillespie acted as receptionist with mrs rick johnson and miss doris gillespie taking care of the gift room decorations were c carried ar ried out in pink and white with a 3 tier wed ding cake centered with a minia ture bride and bridegroom A musical program was furnish ed by jay lewis cousin of the bride who rendered some ful vocal solos and who played the wedding march the bride chose a beautifully tailored beige suit for her wed ding ensemble and carried an or bouquet with white brides ribbons they left for a brief honeymoon trip to the southern parks they will make their home in provo mr alien allen served for 3 years in the armed forces overseas both bride and bridegroom attended the utah state agricultural college where she was affiliated with al pha chi omega sorority and he was affiliated with sigma na fra eternity mrs alien allen was chosen as sponsor for the R 0 T C during her past year at the agricultural college they will both return this fall as students at the U S A C many fraternity brothers and fri ends from logan attended the wedding reception out of town guests who attend ed the wedding reception were mr and mrs robert cuff of marys vale utah mrs cuff is the sister of mr alien allen stewart mr and mrs alden of hurricane utah many relatives and friends from the southern part of the state also were in attendance t |
