No further actions taken. On August 30 an officer was dispatched on a delayed report of a theft of a trailer. There are no known suspects at this time. The trailer has been listed NCIC. This case was referred to the detectives for follow up. An officer was dispatched to a criminal mischief incident where the complainant reported the tire on his wheelchair was cut. At this time there are no investigative leads. This case was closed inac-tive pending any further informa-tion. On August 31 an officer was dispatched to a residence on a re-port of a delayed burglary. The of-ficer found unlawful entry had been made into the residence but nothing had been taken. Some damage had been done to some of the property in the residence in an attempt to steal some items. Minimal evi-dence was gathered. A report was filed and forwarded to Investiga-tions for follow up. Police spoke with a male who reported that someone entered his garage and took his golf clubs with an estimated value of $1500. There is no suspect information at this time. An officer was dispatched to a criminal mischief incident where the complainant reported his car was damaged. It appeared some-one tried to siphon gas from his gas tank. It was found no gas had been stolen during the incident. An officer responded to a resi-dence for a report of drug parapher-nalia which had been located in the residence by some parents. The children were not at the residence at the time. The officer issued both of the juveniles citations for pos session of drug paraphernalia in a drug -- free zone when they returned home. While on patrol on September 1, an officer found a vehicle with a revoked registration. The officer stopped the vehicle and found the occupants had drug involvement. A K-- 9 sniff of the vehicle was done and the dog indicated on the vehi-cle. A search of the occupants of the vehicle led to one male being arrested for possession of parapher-nalia, possession of a schedule II substance, and possession of a pre-scription without a valid prescrip-tion. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for driving on a revoked registration. The vehicle was impounded for the revoked registration and one juvenile male was issued a citation for curfew violation. An officer stopped a vehicle for no insurance and while speak-ing with the driver, the officer could smell the odor of marijuana. The driver was arrested for DUI and possession of marijuana. He was later released without inci-dent. On September 2 officers took a report of a stolen digital camera. There is suspect information. This case is being referred to the Investi-gations division for follow-u- p. On September 3 officers were dispatched to a local residence on a burglary. Information for a report was taken including a list of miss-ing items. This case has been re-ferred to detectives. An officer was dispatched to a local address for a female offering a young child drugs. The female was located later that evening and ar-rested. She as booked into the Utah County Jail. Officers responded on a re-portable traffic accident in the Macey's parking lot. During the accident investigation, an odor of alcohol was detected on one of the drivers. Field sobriety tests were done and one male was arrested for DUI. A DI-- 9 accident report was also completed. An officer met with a reporting party regarding a vehicle burglary. The officer found the reporting par-ty had left her purse in her vehicle while she was in a local business. When she returned to her vehicle, the purse was missing. This case was referred to the detectives for follow up. An officer was dispatched on September 4 to a burglary of a lo-cal residence where the complain-ant reported property taken from her residence yesterday morning. A possible suspect was identified dur-ing the investigation. This case will remain active and will be referred to detectives for further investiga-tion. September 5 an officer made contact with the complainant over the telephone regarding harassing phone calls and texts from a friend. She also accused the friend of steal-ing some medication. An officer made contact with the suspect and warned her about contacting the complainant. She denied having taken the medication and no evi-dence was found to support the ac-cusation. An officer made contact at the police department with a reporting party on a residential burglary. The reporting party stated the exterior door was left unsecured. The re-porting party is unsure if anything was missing at this point but does have suspect information due to a yogurt container left on her kitchen floor, which was brought in by the suspect. An officer followed up with the reporting party to verify if anything was taken. An officer was dispatched on August 26 to a local address for a theft. A report was completed and the case was referred to Investiga-tions for follow-u- p. An individual reported a theft of fuel by an employee. An officer responded on a de-layed burglary at a local business. The officer found a large amount of copper wire had been stolen. There was no suspect information at this time. The case was referred to the detectives for follow up. The owner of a business called police to report his front door win-dow broken out. Police responded by phone call with an individual that had her vehicle vandalized at a local apart-ment complex. Police responded to the apartment complex and met with this individual to take pictures of the vehicle. Possible suspect in-formation was reported. This case was referred to Investigations. On August 27 police respond-ed by phone call to an individual that had his wallet taken from a local business. Information was taken and this case was forwarded to the detectives. Officers responded to the re-port of a theft. Upon investigation it was found that several items had been stolen from the reporting par-ty's vehicle which had been parked and unlocked in his driveway. There was no discernable finger-print evidence on or in the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time. The case referred to the PG Police Department Investigations for in-formation purposes only. On August 28 an individual reported a theft of a mountain bike from their front yard. An officer was dispatched to a theft where the complainant re-ported his weed burner stolen from his yard. At this time there are no investigative leads. This case will be closed inactive pending further information. An iPhone was stolen from a victim at the PG High School foot-ball bleachers on August 29. The phone's location was found using the "find my phone" app. It was determined that a boy On August 22 an officer was dispatched to a local business where it was reported a theft had occurred. Upon arrival and investigation, the officer learned from the victim that he suspected a coworker of stealing copper tubing and recycling it. The officer attempted to contact the sus-pect but was unsuccessful. Later in the evening the sus-pect called police and stated he and the victim had spoken and worked out a deal. Police called the victim who explained he did speak with the suspect and they had worked out a plan for restitution. The vic-tim stated he no longer wished to press charges and stated he no lon-ger needed police assistance. Police received reports of a delayed burglary of a residence. No suspect information is known. Several items were taken from the home over night. No further action was taken. " One adult female was charged with driving under the influence af-ter nearly striking the complainant with her vehicle. The female was released from the police department on a citation. Police received reports of tools stolen out of the bed of a pickup truck while being parked at a local church. Minimal suspect informa-tion is known at this point. On August 23 the manager from Thorneberry Apartments called to report some marijuana use in one of their apartments. Two ar-rests were made. Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had a malfunction-ing headlight and a cracked wind-shield. After running the driver's license through dispatch, the officer learned the driver's license was re-voked for alcohol. He was an al-cohol restricted driver and he was also required to have an ignition interlock device in his vehicle. The officer had the driver blow in a PBT which detected alcohol in his system. The officer also had the driver perform field sobriety tests, which he failed. The driver was ar-rested for DUI, alcohol restricted driver, ignition interlock violation, driving on revoked license and pre-vious owner plates and booked in the Utah County Jail. Police stopped a vehicle called in by a citizen which was reported to being driven recklessly. Contact was made with the driver. The driv-er exhibited signs of drug influence, but when field sobriety tests were administered, he was not found to be impaired. Another individual responded and drove the driver and his vehicle home. An officer was dispatched to a local residence where it was report-ed a vehicle burglary had occurred. Upon arrival and investigation, an officer learned the vehicle's ash tray and all the loose change stored therein had been stolen. Further-more, there were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle. An officer gathered all available information from the citizen and advised him to contact police if he had any new information or observed any suspi-cious behavior. On August 24 a victim re-ported three Lortab 75 pills stolen from his closet, possibly by his girl-friend. Attempts to contact the sus-pect were unsuccessful. The case was referred to Investigations. An officer responded to the hospital for a delayed report of an assault which occurred in Pleasant Grove. After making contact with the victim in the assault, the officer found very limited suspect informa-tion. The officer also found that the victim was uncooperative and did not want any police actions taken. An individual called to report the theft of cash from a tithing en-velope at church on August 25. Police received a report of a Kindle Fire stolen from the report-ing party's bedroom. urine tests. A Drug Recognition Expert Evaluation was performed. The female was released to a family member with a citation for DUI and Driving On A Suspended Drivers License. On August 30 police respond-ed to the area west of on 1600 N. to assist a Orem officer with a traffic accident. Police arrived and learned the accident occurred within Lindon City limits. Officers spoke with the Orem officer and told him they would take the acci-dent as it had occurred in their city. Officers later learned after conduct-ing records that one of the drivers was alcohol restricted and had sev-eral DUI arrested documented in Spillman. During the investigation, the arrestee drove away and was stopped about two blocks away and administered Standardized Field tests and was later arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail with charges of DUI, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Alcohol Restricted Driver. On August 30 an officer went to Wal-ma-rt on report of a delayed grocery cart push-o- ut theft. The of-ficer found that the suspects pushed a grocery cart out of the store with-out paying for the items. A license plate was obtained on the vehicle and suspects have been identified by their driver's license photos and booking photos. Police have not yet been able to make contact with any of the suspects. This report will be referred to Investigations. On August 3 1 police respond-ed to a business for a report of a male who was being detained by employees. When officers arrived and met with store personal, they learned the male has been coming into the business and consuming alcoholic beverages without paying for them and then leaving the store. The male has also been previously trespassed. Management wanted the individual cited again for tres-passing. One male was issued a citation for Retail Theft as well as Criminal Trespass. Police received a report from Wal-ma- rt regarding a white male that pushed out a full cart of grocer-ies without paying for them. The alleged crime occurred on August 30, at about 14:06 hours. In the surveillance video, the male is seen walking past all points of purchase and then out the gro-cery side doors. The male is then seen walking through the parking lot towards the east, where he is last seen walking in between the Jiffy Lube and Arby's. The male is never seen getting into a vehicle or with anyone else. The male appears to be tall and lean. The male has a shaved Lindon" continued on Page 9 On August 23 police received a report that around August 14 an unknown suspect(s) took a package from the reporting party's mailbox. The package was confirmed to have been delivered by the post office. There are no witnesses at this time, nor suspect information. On August 25 an officer was dispatched to a fight in progress. The officer arrived and found two adult males had been fighting. One subject was issued a citation and one subject booked into the Utah County Jail. Police received a call from the Orem dispatch about a vehicle entering Lindon that could not maintain its lane of travel. An of-ficer located the vehicle with Utah Plate C646ZM northbound on State Street. The officer was advised that the complainant was follow-ing. Police stopped the vehicle at 100 E State Pleasant Grove and made contact with the driver who was identified by name and date of birth. The officer had the driver exit the vehicle and perform FST's. The officer noticed the driver had a hard time keeping his eyes open. The driver was unable to pass the FST's and found too im-paired to operate a vehicle safely. The driver was later found to test positive for Methamphetamine's and Opiates in a urine dip test. The officer had a Drug Recognition Ex-pert evaluation performed on the driver as well. On August 26 a complainant found a multi-colore- d striped bag on the couch downstairs where his granddaughter is living. A burnt spoon, needles, scales, small squares of tin foil were found in this bag. The complainant took the bag and had it upstairs and gave it to an officer when police arrived. On August 26 an officer met with the complainant regarding sto-len vegetables from the vegetable stand located at about 50 South State Street on the west side. The complainant told the officer they usually leave fruit and vegetables in the stand over night and roll down the canvas blinds. Last night or this weekend, however, the blinds did not get rolled down. When the complain-ant arrived this morning, she found that eight to ten boxes of tomatoes were missing. The cost of the the crates was $20 each, for a total loss of between $160 and $180. The complainant said she knew we would probably not find who is responsible, but asked that officers try to patrol the stand over-night, as they will be leaving some of the vegetable s and fruit there. The officer told her they would do what they could and advised her to take as much as possible when she leaves. There is no suspect infor-mation on this case. A male suspect removed items from a sales display at Wal-ma- rt and then took them up to the cus-tomer service. The male then said he was returning the items and pre-sented his Utah identification card for the return. The male received a gift card for the value of the mer-chandise and then left die store. The male was arrested at his home after hiding inside his bath-room and refusing to open the door for police. The suspect's wife also told police that he was not in the house after she had gone in and out multiple times to talk with him and tell him the police were look-ing for him. The male was booked into Utah County Jail on Theft and Obstruction. The officer requested charges on the female for Obstruc-tion as well. On August 27 police made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a regis-tration violation. The officer found the vehicle was not registered, was not insured, and the driver's license was denied. The officer found one of the passengers was in possession of drugs and paraphernalia in a drug-fre- e zone. Police impounded the vehicle and issued the ownerdriver a citation. The passenger was ar-rested and booked for the drug vio-lation. Police seized evidence re-lated to these offenses and booked it at the station. On August 28 an officer was dispatched to a retail theft incident. The officer found a retail theft in-cident had occurred involving a ju-venile. The officer identified the ar-restee, cited them and released them to their parents. A juvenile male in state cus-tody had runaway from a proctor home. At that time he took a cel-lular phone that belonged to the victim. While filing this report, the victim had been called by the de-tention facility that the youth was at and was advised that his phone had been recovered. The victim no longer wanted any further actions taken. On August 29 an adult female was arrested at the scene of a crash for DUI.
