While on patrol, a vehicle ve-hicle was stopped for a speeding violation. Upon making contact with the juvenile driver, an odor of alcohol was detected. The driver submitted to FST testing and was arrested. She was released to her mother a short time later. No further action taken. Police were called to a vehicle burlgary. Items stolen were a planner worth $100, social security ID card, checkbook, and a debit deb-it Visa. On Monday, October 18, an officer was dispatched dis-patched to a residence on theft detail. On Tuesday, October 19, an officer stopped a vehicle ve-hicle for an equipment violation vio-lation and found the driver had a denied license. The driver was given field sobriety so-briety tests and found to be impaired. The driver was arrested for DUI and booked into the Utah County Coun-ty Jail on felony charges. Two juvenile males were arrested for criminal mischief at the Pleasant Grove High School. Both juveniles' parents were contacted and informed of the incident and were released re-leased on citation. On Wednesday, October 20, officers stopped a vehicle ve-hicle for mechanical violation. viola-tion. The driver was identified iden-tified by means of a Utah driver's license. The officer offi-cer found the driver to have been consuming alcohol and following administration administra-tion of field sobriety tests, found him to be impaired. The State impounded the vehicle. An intoxilizer test was administered to the driver. The driver showed two prior convictions for .DUI within the past ten years which made this violation vio-lation a felony. The driver was arrested and booked on felony DUI and misdemeanor misde-meanor traffic violations. Police responded to a report by an individual who reported a theft of some tires and possibly a lot of tools. Officers were called to a delayed assault incident in-cident that occurred two hours prior. The assault occurred during football foot-ball practice between two teammates on the 9th grade football team. On Thursday, October 14, an individual observed a theft occurring and called police. No damage was done to the vehicle, but the owner just called to inform the police for possible pos-sible extra patrol during the night. On Friday, October 15, at around 1:15 a.m., officers offi-cers were called on a vehicle vehi-cle burglary. Tools valued at $300 and $100 in cash were stolen. The officer made contact with the individual and informed him to make a list of the property that was stolen so the officer could enter it in with the report. An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation viola-tion and found that the passenger pas-senger in the vehicle had a valid no bail warrant. The passenger was also found to be in possession of Meth, Ecstasy, and paraphernalia parapherna-lia and was booked into the Utah County Jail. The driver was found to be in possession of paraphernalia and was cited and released. On Saturday, October Octo-ber 16, an officer was dispatched dis-patched to a local residence on a possible alcohol party. Upon investigation, several individuals were located hiding in the home, however, how-ever, all were of legal age to be consuming alcohol.
