Burns and her teammate, Mekell Craft, made it to the second round in the State Tournament with outstanding performances. Two members of the Cross Country team, Alicia Heninger and Kyle Teusher, were awarded Academic All-State. All-State. The football team earned various awards. Austin Heder was named All-Region Line backer. McKay Madson, Quinn Newbold, and Ben Weese were honored for First Team All-Region. Jason West, Brandon Fanaika, and Cooper Caldwell were recognized for earning Second Team All-Region. Bryon Bingham, Colton Babb, Dakota Lynn, and Dustin Dennison were named honorable mention. The following athletes earned Academic All-Region: All-Region: freshmen, Zachary Dawe; sophomores, Michael Anderson, Colton Babb, Taylor Davis. Brandon Dennison. Dallin Hatch, Niniva Kinikini.' Ash H Schulz, by Danica Baird On November 1 1 , Pleasant Grove High School held their Fall Sports Recognition Assembly honoring the various sport teams for their accomplishments. The volleyball team presented their second place trophy to the school. On the volleyball team, Kim Dahl was recognized for her awards: First Team All-State, First Team All-Region, Player of the Week, and MVP at the State Tournament by the Salt Lake Tribune. At this assembly. Dahl also signed her letter of intent to play on the BYU volleyball team, where she has been offered a full scholarship. . McKell Staheli was recognized for First Team All-State and Best Defensive Player All-Region. Audrey Biggs was awarded First Team All-Region. Delayne Daniel was awarded First Team All-Region, and Anneliesse Jenkinson was aw arded Second Team All-Region. |
