Show Thompson Area News By Virginia Gruver Monday evening, late, Jessie Jeffries had a call fro ma friend, Dave Black-stone. Black-stone. It seems that Dav-3 had a front tire blow out and it caused him to run into a bridge between Crescent and Moab. Jess took his son Boyd with him. Dave was not hurt. Susie Jeffries went home to Price, Utah with her grandfather, William Myers, to spend a few days. Grandma Grand-ma and Grandpa will bring her home Thanksgiving. Virginia and Jesse Gruver, Jack Miller and his mother went to Cisco to spend Thanksgiving with Virginia's niece, Ethel Spears. A large group enjoyed dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Theos were callers in Thompson on their way home to Grand Junction. Virginia Gruver went to Moab to visit her mother Friday Fri-day evening. She is not doing do-ing as good as she did for-; a while. ,', Mrs. Alma Curtis of Gal-' lup, New Mexico, daughter of Virginia Gruver; Mrs. Paula Pond and son Randy, of San Marcus, Texas, and Ginger Shuey and family of Moab, granddaughters of Virginia Vir-ginia Gruver, were all visitors visi-tors in Thompson Saturday. Wally Winfield of Moab stopped to visit Jesse Gruver. He was on his way back to his job at the mines in Wal-den, Wal-den, Colorado. Those going to the Com-rmVsioneos Com-rmVsioneos meeting Monday were Jessie Jeffries, Jesse Gruver, Virginia Gruver, Mr. and Mrs. George Dutos and Tony Lemieux.
