Show Dynalectron to Acquire Arthur Corporation in Planned Merger WASHINGTON, D. C. -Charles G. Gulledge, president presi-dent of Dynalectron Corporation Corpora-tion (traded AMEX), Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. headquartered diversified engineering and technical services firm, today announced Dynalectron has signed an agreement in principle prin-ciple to acquire Arthur Corporation Corp-oration and subsidiaries of Phoenix, Arizona. Arthur Corporation, with sales of $8 million for the year ended June 30, 1971, is a privately owned residential and commercial electric contracting con-tracting organization. Terms of the agreement call for the exchange of an undisclosed amount of Dynalectron Dyn-alectron common stock, and the transaction is subject to approval by the directors and . stockholders . of Dynalectron. Arthur Corporation will continue con-tinue to operate under its present management as a ' wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynalectron. ?'N Gulledge said: "Upon completion com-pletion of the acquisition, Dynalectron Dy-nalectron stockholders can expect ex-pect a significant v contribution contribu-tion to the Company's earnings earn-ings per share from Arthur . Corporation. " This will be the seventh acquisition ac-quisition made by Dynalectron Dynalec-tron in a period of less than two years- in : the rapidly expanding ex-panding field of services to industry and commerce. The acquisition also places Dynalectron in a new and rapidly growing field, the construction con-struction and management of specialized apartment developments, devel-opments, including student . housing, young marrieds as well as family - type com- plexes.
