In an effort to reduce operating costs, Frontier consolidated con-solidated its headquarters at 8250 Smith Road last March. Frontier recently announc- cd the sale of its four 727 jets. The phaseout of the 727's will be concluded in early 1972, and the company said it expected to realize a number of economic bene -fits from the move. Frontier began service to Moab over ten years ago, flying DC-3 aircraft into the old Grand County Airport in Spanish Valley. With the completion com-pletion of larger Canyonlands Field iKirth of Moab, the company began service with Convair 580 prop-jet aircraft. |
