Show last Business Meet of Year Held by Literary Club The Woman's Literary Club met Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers for their last business meeting of the season. President Jen Pope read letters from Jackie Nokes of K.S.L. on the clubs sponsoring of Senior Girl Scout 190 and from Harold Jacobs for the registration of Jeep Safari. She also read letters from the State Chairman of Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Mrs. Marguerite Wright, and Stacy Lawrence on the clubs participating in the local Community Profiles Workshop. The state convention is May 6-8 and Louise Watts will attend for the club. The installation tea will be postponed until May 15 at 2 p.m. in the First Western National Bank. Out going officers will be the hostesses and new officers to be installed are president - Joan Shermer; vice-president - Hildur Unger; treasurer - Mildred Claus; secretary - Merna Mac Arthur; auditor - Louise Watts; historian histor-ian - Ha Corbin; and parliar-mentarian parliar-mentarian - Jen Pope. |
