Show Services Set Thursday For Edna B. Lile Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Edna B. Lile, 84, a long-time resident of Moab, who died May 2, 1976. Mrs. Lile was born April 11, 1892, in Ethel, Missouri to Lewis Allen and Emma Frances Fran-ces Day Payton. She and her husband, W.E. Lile, arrived in Moab in June of 1945 from Sheridan, Arkansas. She was a great homemaker who loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed sightseeing and the outdoors. Survivors include two sons, Harold D. of Moab and Glen E., Grant's Pass, Oregon; five daughters, Mrs. Glen (Mildred) (Mil-dred) Babcock of Freedom, Okalahoma, Mrs. Walter (Len-ore) (Len-ore) Land of Benton, Arkansas, Arkan-sas, Mrs. Thomas (Bonnie) Castor of St. Louis, Missouri, Mrs. Rod (Thurlene) Quainton of Clinton, Maryland and Mrs. Seraph (Laketa) Olearain of Fillmore, Utah; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Services will be at the Community Baptist Church with Rev. Emil Balla officiating. officiat-ing. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Friends visited at the Grand Valley Mortuary Wednesday evening between 7 and 9 p.m. |
