She also introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Paul Mayberry. Lori Merrill and Kristine Black presented a musical number. Presentation of pins, cards and candles was by Valarie Mays, La Trece Winn and Jana Curfman. Susan Shafer presented the introduction of Bi-Centennial Presentation. This special program was written for the 200th anniversary of your nation's birth. This is the only year such a presentation could be made. In it, the qualities of the National Honor Society were expressed, scholarship, service, leadership, and character. chara-cter.
