Show County Zoning Plan Delayed Pending Outcome of Vote The Grand County Commission Commis-sion Monday made a decision to postpone any further hearings on the proposed County Zoning Ordinance until after the city-county consolidation consolida-tion election in May. Because of the inter-related factors of the two, commissioners commis-sioners felt that any action on the zoning ordinance should wail until after voters make a decision on consolidation. It was also felt that the time interim will provide citizens more lime to study the proposed ordinance. ,A number of appointment to. county boards were made during the regular meeting of the Commission. Kay Hancock, Han-cock, Russ Donoghue and Ted Tibbiits were appointed to the Mosquito Board; Jim McPher- son was appointed to the Planning Board to replace Ellis Cook, who is moving; a;nl Lynn Hawks was appointed to the County Board of Adjustments Adjust-ments lo replace Al Berna, who resigned. The Commission set May 27 al 10 a.m. as date of sale of property for delinquent taxes; and June 1 and 21 were set for meetings of the Board of Equalization on property tax levies. In other business, it was voted to request Sky West Aviation to pay SI. 5 per month 'o '! c otinty for p-..' - .. 4 in their hangar at Canyonlands Field as it is drawn from power lines to the County's fire equipmeni building, and the County is currently paying the full bill. |
