Show Alpha Rho Holds Meet Alpha Rho Chapter of ESA sorority met at the home of Betty Dravage for their November Nov-ember business meeting. Assisting Ass-isting as co-hostesses were Irene Lemon and Bobbie Johnson. To help celebrate the Bicentennial year, the educational educa-tional program centers about women. Outstanding women in various fields, both in the past and present, have been reviewed in "New Dreams For Old". Several sorority members mem-bers have assisted Harriet 1 Ricks, Educational Director, in the presentation of the pro grams each month. Alpha Rho was privileged to have as their guest speaker, Helen Taylor, w ho spoke on Women of the Bible. She reviewed four outstanding women of the Old Testament, one from the New Testament, and one or two nameless women of the New Testament who nevertheless left a story to be told. Mrs. Taylor compared the strength, weakness, willingness to become be-come involved, and the courage cour-age of these women with women today. As she rv.i-j;-ed these special women, tl,.-y became very real and believable believ-able to her listeners. Plans were formulated for Alpha Rho's annual Santa's Candy Kitchen to be held during Moah's Christmas Parade Par-ade on Saturday, December h. Homemade Christmas goodies and candies will be feature-; al Santa's Candy Kitchen. |
