Show City Court News... On Nov. 17 Robert Carl White appeared to answer to 3 charges: possessing a controll-Hed controll-Hed substance, unlawful possession pos-session of beer, and failure to T keep proper lookout. He j entered a plea of guilty to all 3 j charges. On the charge of possessing a controlled substance, sub-stance, he was sentenced to E pay a fine of $100 and to serve H40 days in jail, with the jail -I sentence suspended upon successful suc-cessful completion of one year probation. On the charge of improper lookout he was sentenced to pay a fine of $35 and to serve 7 days in jail; and on the charge ; of unlawful possession of beer he w as sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and to serve 5 days in jail. . LeGrande Butcher appeared ' Nov. 1 7 on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He entered .a plea of guilty and was ; sentenced to pay a fine of $200 and in default of payment ot serve 40 days in jail. ; Also on Nov. 17, Randy Bell .appeared on a charge of driving during revocation. He entered a plea of guilty to the i charge and was sentenced to pay a fine of $150, and to serve 60 days in jail, the jail sentence suspended upon suc- i cessful completion of one year probation. On Nov. 10 Clyde Mitchell of Palisade, Colo., appeared on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He entered a plea of guilty to the charge and was sentenced to pay a fine of $200 and in default of payment of the fine to serve 40 days in jail. On Nov. 6 John Levering appeared on a charge of shoplifting. He entered a plea of nolle contendrc. or no contest, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $50. Kenneth Casey appeared Nov. 6 on a charge of issuing a series of bad checks. When he again appeared in City Court Nov. 10, he had made restitution on the checks and was advised that the charges would be dismissed upon probation of one year following the restitution which had been made, and that if he writes any further checks it will be considered a violation of his probation, and he will be required to serve 30 days in jail. |
