A of Moab president of the First First Na Na- National Nal Bank and the S-S S Cattle I Co Ca I I Miss was mayor of Sa Salina Sa- Sa lina in 1919 and 1920 and principal prin prin- cipal of North Sevier high school schaal for nine years She retired seven years ago aga She was a native a of oZ Sauna Salina born April 18 1882 a daughter of Christian and Karen Hansen She attended Salina Sauna schools received a teaching certificate certificate fr from m the University of Utah a bachelors bachelor's degree from Utah State Agricultural college and a masters master's degree from Brigham Young university She attended attended the University of California California California Cal Cal- at Berkeley for a year She taught school for 43 years serving in schools at Redmond Sauna Salina Elsinore and Richfield Sevier county Heber and Park City Miss Sc p w r was s' s an active member of the church having filled a mission in the northern states in 1911 and 1912 She was president of Salina library board for a number of years She was also superintendent dent of North Sevier SeWer stake Young Women's MIA for a number num num- ber her of years I Surviving are a brother and two sisters J. J A. A Moab Mrs Olivia Thornell and Mrs Avilda Anderson SaUna Salina Funeral services were conducted conducted con can ducted by Bishop Glen Carlson In the SaUna Salina Second ward chapel chap chap- el Sunday and burial was at Sa- Sa lina |
