| Show 7 GRAND COUNTY STUDENTS AT U OF U special to the times independent seven students from grand county are registered for the autumn quarter at the university of utah these are from moab and cisco the follow are from moab john H dark rosalie garcia kenneth robertson edith rutledge horace M rutledge and elaine dorothy rae pace of cisco Is the other grand county student enrolled students from every county in utah except daggett are included among those registered for the fall term representatives of thirty two states and dependencies of the united states and nine foreign countries are also included among those enrolled among those registered are students from germany japan peru prance mexico russia korea china and canada the total registration tor the quarter to date Is 2996 according to E J norton recorder this Is a net increase of students over the number registered a year ago it Is estimated that the total enrollment for the college year 1929 30 will bo more than of those registered 1786 are men and 1205 are women there are fifty nine graduate students who are candidates for masters degrees the registration in the various schools of the university is as follows arts and sciences education mines and engineering medicine law and business |
