Show william somerville for many years a resident of moab died tuesday at ferron where he had lived for several years news of his death was received by relatives in moab wednesday morning mr somerville had been in poor health tor the past year funeral services will be held at perron and burial will be at that place this nephews andrew W 0 and and james somerville of moab left this morning for ferron to attend the funeral mr somerville had lived with his son earl somerville and family at ferron for about five years he was 76 years of age he was one of the early pioneers of moab coming here in the nineties for years he ran the ferry across the colorado river at moab and be was widely known throughout this part of the state he Is survived by his son earl his wife and a daughter having preceded him in death at moab years ago the death of sammy somerville as he was best known at moab and throughout this part of the state will be generally regretted here he had many friends who respected him for his honesty and square dealings C A robertson vice president and W R mcconkle assistant cashier of the first national bank will leave tomorrow for price where they will attend the annual convention of the eastern utah bankers association they will be accompanied by their wives |
