Show FORMER SCHOOL TRUSTEE AND LONGTIME LONG TIME RESIDENT OF GRAND COUNTY ANSWERS FINAL CALL william H muller for many years a resident of castleton and tor eight years a member of the board of education of grand county died at his home in castleton tuesday night following an illness of several weeks mr muller had been in poor health for a year or more and of late his condition had become worse it was not however that he was seriously ill and news of his death comes as a shock to his many friends throughout the county the body will be brought to moab today for burial and interment will take place here friday or saturday his sister mrs emma R hotz of pasadena calif will arrive tomorrow mr muller was about 65 years old and had resided at castleton for a quarter of a century many years he was interested in mining property in the la sal mountains and spent much of his time prospecting and developing ve his claims he also served as postmaster at castleton and operated the store there tora number of years in 1916 mr muller was elected as a member of the board of education from castleton precinct and he served on the board for eight years he took a keen interest in educational matters and was looked upon as one of the countes coun tys most valuable citizens mr muller had many friends throughout southeastern utah who will sincerely regret to leam of his death WILLIAM H MULLER |
