Deceased was born in Lchl, Juno 4, 1817. Mr. Thomas was well known In this city, having been employed by tho Sugar Company In Its campaigns ror a number or years. Impressive runoral services wero held at Elwood Tuesday at 2 o'clock p. in., Bishop J. K. Fridnl presiding. Eleven Sugar Company offlelulB nud employes woro in attendance at tho services, also Alcsdamos T. H. Edwards, G. R. Kortli and Ueorge T. Rogers.
