Show VAN COn RITES SET WEDNESDAY Funeral Plans for S. L Attorney Made Final rltea f6r Waldemar Van Cott SO, attorney who practiced in the courts of Utah and surrounding sur-rounding states for mora than 50 years, will be conducted Wednesday Wednes-day at 1 p. m. at 5T4 East First South street with B. R. Howell officiating. Interment will be In the City cemetery. Mr. Van Cott died Monday at 3 a. m. at his home In the Belvedere apartment hotel, 29 South State street, of causes Incident to age. Mr. Van Cott was a native of Salt Lake City and for many years was a member of the University of Utah board of regents, later serving serv-ing as chairman of that body. He waa credited with being' Instrumental Instru-mental In locating the university on Its present site. He had been a member of several sev-eral legal firms In Salt Lake City and at the time of his death was senior member of the firm of Van Cott Rlter and Farnsworth. |
