Middleton is Utah director for the Oregon Memorial association. )V The Oregon Trail Memorial association as-sociation and associated groups have accepted the invitation of the Utah Pioneer Trails and Landmarks association to hold the annual midsummer meeting in Salt Lake City, John D. Giles, executive secretary of the landmarks land-marks association, announced Wednesday. The invitation was accepted by Dr. Howard R. Drigga, president of the Oregon group, and tha executive board, meeting in New York City. The meeting. August 2S to 29. will bring 75 to 100 representatives rep-resentatives of historical groups from west of the Mississippi river. Mr. Giles said tentative plana include arrangements for a public meeting the first day, Thursday, carrying out a program fiva years in the making.
