Show STATE ORGANIZATION . OF CARPENTERS FORMED! The carpenters of Tlah have effected a council, an organisation intended to bring about a closer affiliation among the many locals and to standardise work- i tn conditions as well as wage amies , throughout the state. This .announce. , ment comes from !. t. Jacobs, secretary of the new organisation. According to Mr. Jacobs, the new council coun-cil will rploe the I'nlted Brotherhood of Csrpenters snd Joiners of America, us the governing body of this state. It la belteved thai, through Its ability .to gain wirier knowledge of local conditions, the council will increase the efficiency of the men as well as make the organisation of mot-e service to the government during war time. ' i The officers of the new council are: H. W. H-ckett. Ogden, president: B J Wll- ; son, frit vice president; I. W. Richards, second vtce president; P. O. Jacobs, aec-roiMrv; aec-roiMrv; Rav Hpalding. treasurer, and H. J. Tinimermann, warden. Bert slock.
