Show LEG BROKEN IN RUNAWAY Camillc Paumic Is Injured In-jured While Going: to the Polls. The carriage was going south In West Temple when the team suddenly took fright and started to run. near West Second South. Paumie was in the seat with the driver, and In the back seat was a woman, whose name could not be learned, and J. M. Abernathy. At Second South' Paumie attempted to take the lines from the driver when the horses swerved and dashed the surrey sur-rey into one of the street railway company's com-pany's poles. The surrey was overturned over-turned and all four of the occupants thrown to the pavement. Abernathy and the driver escaped Injury, and the woman was only slightly bruised. |
