Show WILL BE AID TO THE CITY Taxes for Improvements Are Adjusted by a New Resolution, r "; ' ': As the result of a meeting held yesterday yes-terday afternoon by the Board of Public Pub-lic Works, at , which several of the members of the Council's Finance committee com-mittee were present, the following resolution res-olution was Introduced by Councilman ! Black at the Council meeting; last night and unanimously adopted:, '.'J' "Resolved: That the assessment for the special taxes to provide for public Improvements be hereafter levied except ex-cept street paving in thre equal Installments. In-stallments. The first of said Installments Install-ments being due and payable In one month from date of levy, the second In two months and the third . in three months, and that the resolution heretofore hereto-fore passed regarding 75 per cent of the whole amount of any public Improvement Im-provement .to be collected before the said work can be ordered be modified to read 33 1-3 per cent instead of 75 per cent, and that the City Treasurer be Instructed In-structed to lnforce the Hen of all special assessments by levy . and sale of real and personal property in accordance with the statutes."
