Star Con. tumbled to 30 cents, but recovered part of the loss before the call closed. A total of 8900 shares was old. i . V Uncle Sam weakened somewhat, but all the sellers found ready buyers for-their for-their stock. About 6000 shares were sold at prices between SO and 29 cents. May Day was stronger, selling up to 24V4 cents, while Wabash reached the 31c-mark, after the sale of S000 shares. New York was pushed down to 25 cents, and Tankee Con. released 700 shares for 39 cents, while Victor Con. held firm at 23 l-3c. Daly sold 400 shares for $1.90. Daly-Judge let 100 go at $10.S2,4. and Daly West was offered at $47.10, with no sales. Carlsa got 10 cents for 700 shares, and AJax 22 cents for 100., Among the commercial stocks Utah Sugar preferred made the only sale, selling 265 shares for $9.93. . Manager Snow say May Day Is showing show-ing up better than ever, and this is verified by arrivals from Tintic. Manager Rood of the Naildrlver came down from that property last night. He states that shaft la now down 105 feet. Three cars of ore from Tlntlc were marketed at the Conklin sampler today. to-day. Manager Allen, of the Centennial Eureka Eu-reka leaves for that property tonight. Herman Hill, the well-known stock broker, will leave for a visit to Germany Ger-many about June 1st. Manager Hunt of the Ophir Queen left for that property this morning to resume operations. The Utah Mining company marketed a car of ore today, the assays of which showed 90 ounces ailver and 434 per cent lead. . - A block of 500 shares of Montana-Tonopah Montana-Tonopah sold on the street today at $1.19. A local broker is said to have received re-ceived on order from Tlntlc this morning morn-ing to buy 2000 shares of Uncle Sam.
