S Auerbach president and manager of the Auerbach company Mr Auerbach was born in Salt Lake City of pioneer parents He receive his education in the schools of Salt Snit Lake Like City Germany France Switzerland Switzerland Swit Swit- and at Columbia university I Starting his is career as a mining i engineer he soon enlarged the field of his activities ties to include real es estate estate estate es- es tate building the mercantile business business business busi busi- ness and banking At the present he is president and manager of the Auerbach company a director of Walkers Walker's Bank and Trust company and is associated with many of the important enterprises and business ventures of Salt Lake City Regent at U IP Mr Auerbach was a regent of the University of Utah up to 1917 when he enlisted in the army and served as major in the corps of the chief of ordnance until the end of the World war He is a member of the American legion Mr Auerbach is also vice president of the Sons of Utah Pioneers chairman of the Salt Lake City metropolitan water district district district dis dis- dis- dis and president of the Utah State Historical al society He is a collector of Oriental art artworks artworks artworks works and a poet Dog I breeding poultry raising and horticulture are are his hobbies The following receive congratulations from The Telegram on the anniversary of their births which also are on Sunday W.
