Show I Jack Hill Dies I In New Mexico I Mrs. Mnttlo nichards Hill, who has lieu living In Qarflold, received n telegram this week that her husband, John S. Hill, hnd been found dead In n railroad town in Now Mexico, and thai his body was being chipped to Tilnldad, Colo., where it would be burled and whore hla parents live. The cause of death was not given. Mr 11111 went from Garfield to Now Mexico about two months ago, and ami had only had two weeks employment employ-ment as a railroad engineer. In a recent letter ho stated that tho town was full of discharged men, who wore to desperate they would take possession posses-sion of a storo and help themselves to keep from starving. Mr. Hill always al-ways wore good clothes and It Is presumed pre-sumed Hint one of these men suspected suspect-ed lilm having monoy and waylaid him. Ho leaves a widow and threo children, chil-dren, the youngest of which Is nine months old. Mrs. Hill, with tho children, chil-dren, left for Trinidad, Thursday to attend tho funeral.
