Show I JACK ATKIN Funeral were performed at Mt 1 View at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon a a 3 K tc t r kin second son sou of ot Mr Mr and Mrs Stanley Atkin He was bOrn jn ill Beaver May 1915 and passed I to the home homo of cherubs on the lith of November 1918 HilS He had suffered suffer- suffer ed for several weeks with whooping cough which developed Into pneumonia pneumonia pneumonia monia early in September when his life was of but he rallied and was thought to be safe when influenza invaded the home of ot his grandparents and ho he contracted the pneumonia and was soon gone One of ot the most pathetic circumstances was the last rites of placing the little fellow in his bIs final little bed b by the hands of his own father who gently brushed the soft hair lr and pressed pres prea pressed sed the hands of his father who natural pose Many a sob was heard as friends stood outside the clo Tv rr I 1 windows observing the preparations Mrs Atkin was so serious ill with the same disease that she was not conscious that one of brood was being borne to the grave The Theother Theother Theother other two boys LaFrance and Clarke aged 2 and 5 years respectively and andI I Mr Atkin were not per permitted to risk going out in the snow snowstorm storm to the cemetery where a great grea many relatives and friends gathered to here the loving services services' Beautiful flowers made a bl blanket a ov ov- over over over t er the small grave 1 |
