J Li ; i ' ' f i " ' i N ' , ' i Fackrell-Ddllin Wedding Early Spring Event A lovely wedding of the early spring season was that of Miss Beth Fackrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Redich H. Fackrell of this city, and Verl S. Dallin, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Dallin of Spanish Fork. The couple were married on February Feb-ruary 25, in. the Salt Lake Temple, with Charles R. Jones of the temple tem-ple presidency, performing the ceremony. cer-emony. The following evening they were honored with a reception in the Fourth ward hall which was attended by a large crowd of relatives rela-tives and friends. The bride chose for her wedding attire, a lovely silk net over white saWn. Her lace-edged veil was fingertip fin-gertip length and held in place pearls. She carried a bridal bouquet bou-quet of gardenias and pink rosebuds rose-buds from which fell streamers of white satin ribbon. Attending the bride were Mrs. Lillian Christensen, an aunt, as matron of honor, and Wilma Fackrell, Fack-rell, Naomi Dallin, Mrs. Carol Bishop and Ba Talbot of Hinckley were bridesmaids. They were attired at-tired in pastel-colored formals and wore corsages of gardenias and split carnations. Jay N. Dallin, brother of the groom, was best man. Also receiving the guests were the parents of the bride and groom. With Dick Haglund acting as master of ceremonies, a program was given during the evening including in-cluding a vocal solo by June Simmons, Sim-mons, a reading, barol Clark; vocal vo-cal duet, Gloria and Bonita Hansen Han-sen of Provo. Mrs. Annie Forshee played the wedding march and June Simmons sang, "I Love You Truly," while the orchestra played the Sweetheart Waltz. Also, during dur-ing the evening, Solon S. Wood gave a tribute to the bride and groom. Refreshments were served under un-der direction of Mrs. Ruby Twitch-ell Twitch-ell and Mrs. Maude Mason, with Ann Whiting, Phyllis Larsen and R.uth Perry, serving. Acting hostesses during the evening eve-ning were, Mrs. Donna Harmer and Mrs. Vera Smith. The gift room was in charge of Mrs. Leone Geslison of Spanish Fork, Mrs. Ramola Norton and Mrs. Marie Dallin. Arthur Bunker, grandfather grand-father of the bride, offered the invocation. in-vocation. The bride is a graduate of the Springville high school. Mr. Dallin i graduated from the Las Vegas, Nevada, high school and served in the Northern California mission. He was also in the army 22 months and stationed in Korea and the Philippines. They are making their home in this city. |
