Band Concert to be Given Saturday Night Guardsmen Leave for Washington To Participate In Grand Maneuvers Early Sunday Morning Under the sponsorship of the Springville Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce, a royal send-off is planned Saturday Satur-day night for members of the 115th Engineers, local unit of the National Guard, who will leave Sundav Files Candidacy ... The Springville band and townspeople towns-people will assemble at the depot j Saturday night at eleven p. m. to serenade the guardsmen. A band concert will be given there from eleven to twelve. Members of the guard spent Sunday in military maneuvering at Pole Haven, about 15 miles up Hobble Creek canyon, in preparation prepara-tion for the encampment. The plan at present is for the guardsmen to entrain Saturday night at midnight and sleep on the trains and depart at 6:05 a. m. Sunday morning. This week loading of trains has been completed. The local unit was assigned two tourist sleepers, a baggage car for personal equipment, equip-ment, and three flat cars for trucks. These cars are put on the siding ahead of departure so that loading can be speeded up, according ac-cording to Captain Bjarnson.
