The guest of honor received a number of lovely birthday gifts and miscellaneous games were played. LADIES LITERARY ('LIB TO MEET TONIGHT Ladies Literary club members will hold their annual art program this evening beginning at 7 p. m. The group will assemble at the Art building to hear a talk on the pictures exhibited, and later on they will go to the home of Mrs. W. IT. Brown for luncheon, a program, pro-gram, and short business nreeting. Mrs. Paul Thorn, club president, presi-dent, has the meeting in charge. MRS. REARNSON HONORED AT PARTY THURSDAY RAY SINGLETON FETED AT BIRTHDAY PARTY Carrying out an Easter theme In arrangements, a novel birthday party honoring Ray Singl-eton on the occasion of his birthday was given Monday afternoon at his home. A variety of games were played and refreshments were served. A birthday calce in yellow and green, topped with a cocoanut nest of candy Easter eggs, was the central cen-tral decorative piece. Approximately fifteen little guests who attended presented the guest of honor with a variety of beautiful birthday gifts. HAROLD ALLEMAN ACCEPTS INSURANCE JOB Bishop Harold Alleman, who has been in the educational field of instruction for many years at the Springville high school, has recently accepted a life insurance contract with the Pacific National Nation-al Life Insurance company, and will be an associate of Glenn Hol-ley, Hol-ley, general agent. Mr. Alleman is well qualified to give the very best of advice and counsel regarding life insurance plans and problems and is now in a position through this great service ser-vice to insure lives from birth to 6 5 years of age. Men-denhall. Luncheon was served from small tables centered with narcissus and hyacinths, and a profusion of daffodils' and snapdragons decorated decor-ated the entertaining rooms. Later bridge and 500 were played, with prize for bridge going to Mrs. Madge Thorn; for 500 to Mrs. Mary Frandsen; and the draw prize went to Mrs. W. W. Urockbank.
