Show Married Fifty Years . . . jb ''-W': ' '' ':'':-:::;:: ' tefc-l .. .Qg Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hutchings In observance of fifty years of nappy married life, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hutchings of this city celebrate their golden wed-jhng wed-jhng anniversary Friday, Decem-er Decem-er 27, with an open house reception re-ception from 1 until 7 o'clock at eir home, 112 West 4th South street. An invitation is extended to il friend3 and relatives to call, "he couple have spent their wre life in Springville, taking att active part in community and cnurch affairs. Mr. Hutchings was born April 18G3, in Springville, a son of aepnerd and Sarah Ann Williams u chings, early pioneers. At an ha ,age' he began farming and s "0,1owed the occupation for ny rs, becoming one of the wessful farmers of this vicinity. He is a member of the high priests' quorum in the L. D. S. church. Mrs. Hutchings, the former Elizabeth Smith, was born August 21, 1870, in Springville. Her parents par-ents were William and Maria Perry Per-ry Smith, also early pidneers of Springville. The couple were married in the Manti temple December 27, 1890. They are parents of nine children, child-ren, all living: Mrs. Darrell Burk of Ogden; Mrs. Joseph Burt and Earl Hutchings, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Oran Groneman and Willis Hutchings, Provo; Mrs. Wayne York and Mrs. Reed Rigtrup, Springville; Mrs. Eldridge Maxwell, Max-well, Orderville; Edward Hutchings, Hut-chings, Denver, Colorado. There are also 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
