Show TewGutke Marriage Takes Place In Temple Ed. G. Robinson Has Dynamic Role In Tabloid Drama In a role ranking with his work in "Five-Star Final" and "Little Caesar," Edward G. Robinson Robin-son again presents a dynamic and forthright portrayal, this time as a scraping tabloid editor in the new M-G-M drama, "Unholy Partners," Part-ners," which opens at the Rivoli theatre Friday. Laid in the colorful prohibition era of returning World War heroes, transatlantic flights and marathon mara-thon dances, the picture tells the story of two men, one a newspaper editor, the other a racketeer. Bitter Bit-ter enemies, unique circumstances place them in joint control of a tabloid newspaper. Edward Arnold, Ar-nold, the only person from whom Robinson can get money to finance fin-ance the tabloid, intends to run the paper to suit his own ends. The editor, equally determined, sets out to ruin his gangster partner. part-ner. The enusing conflict results in a series of as exciting and dramatic dra-matic episodes as has been seen on the screen in some time. Robinson offers a punch-filled characterization as the man determined de-termined to print the news and "all the news," and finds -a worthy opponent in Arnold, who in this picture has one of his best acting opportunities. The groom is a graduate of the Utah State Agricultural college, col-lege, Logan, and a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is also a graduate of the University of Chicago.
