Show BOND DRIVE IS UNDERWAY INSPRINGVILLE Large Corps Of Committee Workers Selected To Make House-to-House Canvass "National Bond Week" is being observed in Springville with a house-to-house canvass to determine deter-mine who will pledge to buy bonds or who have already pledged for bonds or stamps. Under direction of F. C. Packard, Pack-ard, general chairman, a large group of committeemen have been appointed to complete this work so that an idea of the amount to be expected from the sale of bonds in the future may be determined. Comprising the central committee commit-tee besides Mr. Packard, are Theron Ther-on S. Hall, Virgil Bird and Victor Frandsen. Besides these general chairmen, a district chairman has been selected to see that every home in the district is contacted. Selected to take charge of district dis-trict No. 1, is Mrs. Olive Miller; No. 2, Mrs. Emily Miner; No. 3, Mrs. Madge Crandall; No. 4, Mrs. Minnie Groesbeck; No. 5, Mrs. Maggie Wood; No. 6, Mrs. Jennie Clyde; No. 7, Mrs. Helen Thorpe; No. 8, Mrs. Jeanette Ullock. Citizens are urged to cooperate with committeemen who call at the homes and fill in the blanks being distributed. The blanks are m triplicate form so that a copy may be left with the individual, another filed with the federal government, gov-ernment, and the third with the state. |
