Show VISITORS Here and There Mrs. Donloe Kennedy of Salt Lake City, was a visitor at the home of Mrs. Emma Kennedy Friday. Fri-day. Olaf Moller, painter of one of Springville's prize pictures, "Tiffany "Tif-fany Pool," and Mrs. Moller, of Heyburn, Idaho, were among those who visited the Springville Art Exhibit Sunday. Mrs. Nellis Dibble Knowlton of Seattle, and Mrs. Nettie Dibble Gordin of Boise, Idaho, were visitors vis-itors this week at the home of Andrew Pierce, visiting with their aunt, Mrs. Mary Wood, and Mr. Pierce. They are daughters of Mrs. Utizette Dibble, formerly of Springville. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Johnson and Miss Myrle Wade were visitors visit-ors Sunday at Midway at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gertch. Rex Whiting, who is attending a dental college in Los Angeles, is spending his spring vacation visiting at Mapleton with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Ullock and daughter, Emma, of this city, have spent a few days of the past week in Greenriver, Wyoming, as guests of Mrs. Ullock's sister, Mrs. William Kraft, and other relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Floyd Harmer of Payson, visited Friday with relatives and friends in Springville. Mrs. Vadal Childs of Reno, Nev., spent a few days of the past week as the guest of Mrs. Mary Childs and other relatives. Dr. and Mrs. H. R. Clark and Jane Clark of Manti, visited over the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. C..E. Eggertsen of this city. Miss Adelia Hall of St. George, a student at the University of Utah, was a week-end guest of Pauline Clyde. Mrs. Mary Kaelber of Portland, Port-land, Oregon, is visiting at the home of Mrs. Harvey Hudson. VERSATILITY CLUB KNTERTAINED Mrs. Joe Miller was hostess to members of the Versatility club at the home of her sister, Mrs. Paul Thorn, Thursday evening. The group early in the evening visited the art gallery and joined the Hafen-Dallin art study club to hear Miss Elaine Brockbank give a three-act play. Later, a delicious deli-cious luncheon was served and during the evening plans were discussed for a Mothers' day Prty. In attendance were Mrs. tUahna Hansen, special guest, Mrs. Evelyn Bird, Mrs. Ferl Bown, Mrs. Taylor Burt, Mrs. Bert Taylor, Mrs. Elzina Laney, Mrs. Eulalia Livingston, Mrs. Helen Rowland, Mrs. Harriet Strong, and Mrs. Minnie Min-nie Walton of Provo. |
