Show Major Musical Planned To Raise Cancer Fund Paul Haymond recently appointed appoint-ed cancer drive chairman in this city, announces a major entertainment entertain-ment planned for Utah county to help raise funds to carry on research work on ' this dread disease. dis-ease. The entertainment is to be a Central Utah Musical to be given at the Joseph Smith Building in Provo next Friday, April 14, at 8 p.m. Plans are now, to contact every citizen , to purchase a ticket to this entertainment for $1 and this entitles the purchaser a ticket to attend the entertainment and at the same time make a contribution contri-bution to the drive. The most talented choral and instrumental groups in the county coun-ty including the chauntinetts, the Couriers of Song, the Mendelsoln Chorus and the Brigham Young University Symphony orchestra will all furnish music for the benefit ben-efit program. All are performing free of charge in an effort to raise this county's cancer drive quota. ' Mr. Haymond said Wednesday that a house to house canvass will probably be made in Springville to sell the tickets and they will also be available at each of the three local drug stores. |
