Show Springville 4-H C ub Supervisors Are Named for Year Girls interested in becoming 4-H club members are urged to contact their leaders and supervisors and become enrolled in a new club now 4-H clubs throughout the county are now being organized, according to Jenniev J. Poulson, Utah County Home demonstration agent- . . Mrs. Omar Hansen is Springville supervisor. 4-H club work is brought to the boys and girls of the county through the Cooperative Extension Exten-sion Service of the Utah State Agricultural College. Anyone ten to 20 years of age is elegible for membership. 4-H activities are centered around the home. Girls take projects pro-jects in foods, clothing, home improvement, im-provement, gardens, and home beautification; boys take projects in livestock, gardening and crops. Goals of 4-H club work the to help boys and girls be: Good cit- izens, through participation In community affairs; Good neighbors, neigh-bors, through wholesome companionship compan-ionship in their community; good producers and efficient home-makers, home-makers, through project work; their best selves, through good guidance in wider experiences. Women who are interested in being leaders are asked to contact con-tact the local supervisor, or Jenniev Jen-niev J. Poulson, at the county agent's office. |
