Show Scouts Select Site For World Jamboree AMSTERDAM (U.E A camp site of 450 acres accommodating 30,000 youths has been selected near the village of Vogelenzang for the World Boy Scout Jamboree Jambo-ree in the summer of 1937. The village of Vogelenzang is only a short distance from Haarlem Haar-lem at the north of Holland, close to both the English Channel and the Zuider Zee. The camp itself is located against large sand dunes that protect pro-tect Holland from the North Sea. The surrounding country is typical typi-cal of the quaint Dutch landscape with dunes, woods and sea on one side and the flat country of Holland Hol-land on the other. The jamboree will be held from Aug. 1 to Aug. 10 1937. |
