Approximately 40 coops are being built on the side hill, where young pheasants will be reared. Construction of a large garage in which four trucks of the department will be housed, is also underway. Another building build-ing which has for some time been needed at the farm, is a feed store house about 14 by 18 feet in which mash and other food for the farm birds, fish and animals may be stored. Depending on weather conditions, condi-tions, the planting of trout in streams throughoat the state will soon begin in preparation for the fishing season. Some very excellent excel-lent specimen of trout are now available at the hatchery for this spring's planting, it is stated. |
