Show CONTRACTS ! SIGNED FOR TOMATOES The Springville Canning company, com-pany, under the direction of W. R. Eddington, has contracted about 625 acres of peas in this vicinity and approximately 130 acres of tomatoes. The pea acreage acre-age this year is said to be about 15 per cent larger than last year. The canning company had no difficulty in signing farmers for the canning crops this season due in a measure perhaps to the fact that few if any beets will be planted in this vicinity this year. Employes at the factory are now preparing to ship the remain- 1 der of last year's pack and also i are busy overhauling the equipment equip-ment in preparation for the opening op-ening of the season's run early in June. |
