Show BURLEY BARBER IS FOUND SLAIN BURLEY, March 20 iVM) Stabbed Stab-bed in the throat with a butcher knife and his skull fractured seven times by a sharp instrument instru-ment believed to be the point of a hatchet, O. P. Simpson, veteran Burley barber, died here early today shortly after two police officers found him unconscious on the floor of his shop. Burley police and Cassia county coun-ty sheriff's officers immediately opened an intensive hunt for "hatchet killer," who left the butcher knife behind. Simpson died before Dr. G. G. Espe, county physician, could reach the scene. Coroner Joseph Payne planned an inquest today or tomorrow to determine exact cause of the death. |
