Show SCOUT WORK PROGRESSING A special scout court of honor will be held at the Grant school auditorium at 7 p. m. Sunday, Commissioner Felix announces. The program will be furnished by the five scout troops of Kolob dis- j trict, with the Fourth ward mem-: mem-: bers acting as hosts. Berton Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Johnson of the Third ward, will receive his Eagle award in addition to numerous other boys who will receive honors. The parents of scouts especially, and all other ward members are invited to attend the program. MAPLETON Approximately 85 mothers, fathers and sons attended at-tended the banquet and program sponsored by the Mapleton scout troop at the school auditorium, Saturday night. Merrill Christopherson, Timpanogos Timp-anogos scout executive, was the principal speaker. Leo Felix, district dis-trict commissioner also was a guest. Scoutmaster W. H. Whiting was in charge of the entertainment, with Chairman Loren Nielson conducting. con-ducting. The program consisted of stunts and musical numbers by troop members. |
