Show KIWANIS CLUB TO MEET AT H. S JONIGHT T. Languard, national scout executive ex-ecutive from Norway, was the principal speaker at the Kiwanis ! club meeting' last Thursday night. He was directed at New York to study the Timpanogos scout program pro-gram as one of the most outstanding outstand-ing in the country, he said, Mr. Languard also finds the L. D. S. scout program one of the most complete which he has contacted. He has visited forty different countries coun-tries in the interest of scout work and plans to visit 23 more, he stated. Mr. Languard was profuse in his praise of the high school art ex- hibit stating he had prolonged his stay in this country to visit the art. He plans to return to Norway Nor-way this month. Scouts Richard Murdock and Averett Larson gave music at the club meeting, and Miss Mildred Parry, readings. M. W. Bird was toastmaster. The Kiwanis meeting tonight will be held at the high school art gallery. The outstanding features of the current exhibit will be discussed dis-cussed and all members are urged to be present. An oil painting will be the attendance prize. |
