Show SOCIETY NEVS Announcement is made of the. marriage of Willie Harrison, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Harrison Harri-son to Miss Melva Jenkins, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Jenkins of Provo, formerly of this city. Miss Dona Salisbury will give a 3-act play Friday evening at a meeting of the Mothers' Study club at the home of Mrs. A. V. Cherrington. All members arc requested to be present at 7 o'clock. Mrs. D. A. Crandall was in Salt Lake Thursday to visit her son Ford who was there from Boise Idaho to attend a convention of life insurance officials. of- Salt Lake, Mr.nd Mrs. Grover Clyde of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Clyde and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Clyde and families. Mrs. Nora J. Clyde accompanied her son Dewey and family to Logan Lo-gan for a brief visit. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Nielson spent two days of the past week on a business trip to Coalville. Mrs. Ed. Clyde visited four days of the past week at Garden City, where Mr. Clyde is engaged in construction work. Miss Wanda Stewart has returned re-turned from a delightful visit with friends at Price. '- l I Mr. and Mrs. George Stone and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur : Oaklev; and Mr. and Mrs. Nolan i Weight spent the past week-end ' at the Weight ranch in Wan-i Wan-i roads. Mrs. Josephine Robinson of Lehi is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Dougall, this week. Mrs. Mervin Bray of this city entei'tained a group of little friends at their home Monday in honor of her (laughter, Hazel, whose twelfth birthday occurred that day. Games and a tasty lunch were enjoyable featues of the party. Guests included Ina Sanford, Evelyn Peterson, Yvonne Childs, Edna Nielson, Elsie Sum-sion, Sum-sion, La Vern Holmes, Helen Bray, Arlin Hatch, Creed Brimhail, Averett Larson, Paul Finley, Roy Savage, Kenneth West, George Henderson. Mrs. Josephine Hubbard and little daughter left early this week for her home in Richfield after a visit with her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Eliza Thorn and ether relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thorn and daughter of Salt Lake were Springvilie visitors Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Thorstensen and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thorstensen Thors-tensen of OgcTen were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Crandall. They also visited the art exhibit during the afternoon. after-noon. Miss Bernice Rolfe left Sunday for Rigby, Idaho where she will make her home indefinitely. She was accompanied by Miss Rose Lowe who will remain for a visit. Mrs Arvil Bird and children have returned from a several days' visit with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Lambert and family in Salt Lake. Mrs. Lena Maycock is spending this week with relatives in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Clyde and family have returned to Chicago after a visit with relatives and friends here. During their stay Mrs. V. w. Clyde and Mrs. Ed. Clyde entertained members of the Clyde family in the form of a reunion at the home of the latter. A delicious dinner was served at noon afterwhich social so-cial chat and music were enjoyed. There were present Mrs. Nora J. Clyde, Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Clvde. and familv of Losan, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clyde and children, Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Clyde and baby |
