Show Mapleton j BY FEKL NIELSON Mr. and Mrs. Howard Waters are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy born Wednesday, April IS. Mother and baby are doing fine. Norma Bird ,son of Mr. and ! Mrs. Freeman Bird, underwent an operation for appendicitis Friday Fri-day night at the hospital irt Springvilie. His Condition is as good as can be expected. Miss Grace Holley and Muriel Jensen spent the week-end at the home of Miss Jensen's sistr, Mrs. L. L. Arnett, at Castlcgate. They also attended the band meet at Price. The Junior class entertained the Vanguards Tuesday evening at a dancing party in the school house auditorium. During the luncheon Marva Perry gave a toast to the Vanguards and Earl Mendenhall made a response. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Mendenhall, Men-denhall, Mr. and Mrs. R L.. Mendenhall. Men-denhall. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting, Whit-ing, Mr. Faye Jensen, Mrs. Ella Johnson, Mrs. Olive Whiting. Mr. J. M. Davis. Mr. Eddie Snow, the Misses. Muriel Jensen, Louise Plumlce, Faye Whiting, Marva Terry, Helen Tew, Erma Mendenhall, Menden-hall, Wilma Whiting, Millie Jensen, Jen-sen, and Dclie Houtz. The Vanguards Van-guards were Blake Everett, Earl Mendenhall. Bobert Bird, Ray R. Law, Stanley Bird, Max Mendenhall, Menden-hall, Elmo Jensen, Ross Hall, Noel Black, and Lawrence Bird. A good time was had by all. |
