Show ter and reckless driving will be handled by LcRoy Tuckclt, deputy dep-uty county attorney who i.s working work-ing with Sheriff K. G. Durnell in investigating' the circumstances .surrounding the fatal crash. Sheriff Durnell has finally succeeded suc-ceeded in locating two eye witnesses wit-nesses to the crash. They are Clarence Gilmer and his wife of Trice who were picking Choki cherries at the side of the roy near Old Tucker at the time ni the accident. INJURED YOUTH IS NEAR DEATH Bliake D. Palfrcyman, 21, Pro-vo Pro-vo who was injured in the accident acci-dent in Spanish Fork canyon Saturday Sat-urday night was reported to be in a precarious condition at the L. D. S. hospital today. Attending Attend-ing physicians feared to perform an operation because of his poor condition, Palfreyman sustained a fractured frac-tured pelvis and serious throat wounds which make it difficult for him to take nourishment. Nevin Wetzel, Salt Lake man, was reported to be in "fair" condition con-dition at the St. Mark's hospital. He sustained a fractured arm, head injuries and body lacerations in the wreck which killed his wife, Loraine Wetzel instantly, when her head was horribly crushed in the impact of the two cars, driven by Wetzel and one of the youths in the Palfreyman car . Funeral services for Mrs. Wetzel Wet-zel will be conducted Thursday in the E. G. O'Donnell mortuary chapel, Salt Lake City. Frank Warwood, passenger in the Palfreyman car is still in the Aird hospital. He suffered severe scalp and body wounds. Lee Crawford who has admitted to being the driver of the car at the time of the crash, is at his home, recovering from his injuries in-juries which were not serious.
