Show CAMPBELL TO COME BY AIR NEW YORK, Aug. 28 U.P Sir Malcolm Campbell, who will try to break his world automobile speed record of 276.816 miles per hour on the salt beds in Utah, decided today to fly most of the way to Salt Lake City. Campbell, accompanied by his American representative, Bill Sturm of Indianapolis, arranged to leave New York on the 20th Century Limited at 5 p. m. They they have made reservations on the United Airlines plane leaving Chicago at 12:45 p. m. tomorrow, and arriving at Salt Lake City at 9:14 p. m. Bluebird ,Sir Malcolm's monster mon-ster racing car arrived in Utah today. NEW YORK, Aug. 28 (U.EI Sir Malcolm Campbell, Britain's king of speed, departs for Utah's salt beds today for another gamble with death. He will attempt at-tempt to boost his world automobile automo-bile speed record of 276.816 miles an hour to 300 in his thundering giant, Bluebird. Campbell arrived yesterday and was more concerned over war in Europe than with his newest speed campaign. "Really, there's not much to tell about Bluebird,' 'he said.
