Show FRED MANNING DIES IN CALIF. Funeral services and burial were conducted in Sacramento, California, this week, for Fred Manning, well known Springville poultryman, who died while on a v sit in the California city. Horn in Hcsperia, Mich., December De-cember 20, 1863. Mr. Manning spent his early life in the east and middle west. He came to Utah in l!2-t and settled in Springville. where lie has followed the poultry business, being for many years one of the largest producers in tlvs I vicinity. Before coming here, he lived several years in Wyoming. Mr. Manninq; had been in ill health nearly three years and because be-cause of this, 'he retired from the poultry industry recently. He is surv'ved by his widow, Mrs. Minta Manning, whom he married in Sidney, Neb., 20 years ago, and a son and daughter. William Manning and Mrs. Ruth Wilsie. Antioch.
